Evaluation of Vital CxNs’ Community Partnerships

Client: Vital CxNs
Topic Areas: Advocacy and community engagement; Community development; Immigrant health; Social determinants of health
Service: Participatory Evaluation

Building off of prior work together to develop an evaluation framework for its work building cross-sector partnerships to improve Boston’s health ecosystem, Vital CxNs has engaged the Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research (LZC) at the Institute for Community Health (ICH) to develop a survey tool that will assess the impact of its activities. LZC and Vital CxNs are working together to create a set of shared metrics with salience across projects and community partners. The aim is to measure the effects of Vital CxNs’ organizational model and the collective work of Vital CxNs’ partners on the broader health ecosystem, and to build the organization’s evaluation capacity so they can capture and share meaningful data that tell the story of its impact over time.
